OAKLAND, CA – December 4, 2023 – Health and productivity research non-profit Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI) has selected James Huffman as President of IBI, beginning January 2024.
“I’m thrilled to announce that James Huffman has accepted the position as President of IBI,” shared Kelly McDevitt, who has served as IBI’s President since 2020 and will be retiring in Spring 2024. “Jim has deep experience from his time as a consultant with Willis Towers Watson, his vast experience leading benefits at Bank of America, Dell and Fidelity, and his prestigious board engagement with PCORI, ERIC and Business Group on Health. Jim brings a unique point of view to the table at IBI, and an impeccable track record along with it. We are excited and honored to have Jim onboard.”
Prior to IBI, Huffman served as Senior Vice President, Benefits Consultant at Alliant Insurance Services where he was as a key strategic advisor to clients, offering comprehensive guidance on employee benefits programs and solutions. In addition, Huffman brings expertise as a former Head of Benefits for both Fidelity Investments and Bank of America, where he led the strategic planning, design, and oversight of employee benefits for these global companies, with an emphasis on a holistic approach to employee well-being.
