Integrated Benefits Institute Names Kelly McDevitt President

OAKLAND, CA – July 27, 2020 – Health and productivity research non-profit Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI) has promoted health plan industry veteran Kelly McDevitt to President. McDevitt joined IBI in May as Executive Director of Development.

“A large part of our work at IBI is to make available data and analytics that helps employers understand how their benefit decisions influence not only the health, wellbeing and productivity of their workforce – but also their bottom line,” said Thomas Parry, PhD, who has transitioned from President to Senior Advisor to IBI. “For over 30 years, Kelly has served as a trusted partner developing healthcare strategies based in deep analytic insights for some of the best-known employers in the US. Her broad industry experience will help IBI further develop our research, reporting and data analytics programs to assist our members in new and important ways.”

Prior to IBI, Kelly served as National Vice President, National Accounts at United Healthcare leading the Center for Advanced Analytics- a specialized analytics team focused on deep research and innovation. In addition, she led the Collaborative Ventures Group which partnered with employer coalitions such as Health Action Council, Equity Healthcare, Employers Health and Berkshire Hathaway. Prior to United Healthcare, Kelly was with Aetna for 29 years where she served in various client management and strategic leadership roles.
