IBI/Conference Board Health & Productivity Forum is Digital for 2020

Speakers announced for virtual event series – Restarting America: The Business Value of Health

OAKLAND, CA and NEW YORK – September 2, 2020 – Employers and other health care purchasers have spent decades equating the value of health with the cost of health care, with recent health and economic events showing that it encompasses so much more. Kicking off on September 14, the now virtual IBI/Conference Board Health & Productivity Forum will be held over six days, across three weeks.

Hosted by the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI), a nonprofit health and productivity research organization, and The Conference Board, a global business membership and research association, the event will address the more holistic value proposition for health and wellbeing, and how the various programs contribute and align the interests of employees and employers in a new framework.

“Now, more than ever, an employee’s ability to be at work, to be paid a full wage, to perform well and contribute to the success of the business can have a significant impact on the performance of an organization, said Kelly McDevitt, IBI President. “Our Forum will offer discussion around the latest trends and challenges and provide practical advice to help employers operating under unprecedented constraints.”

The conversations will focus on topics critical to employers including but not limited to paid family leave, telemedicine, obesity, diabetes reversal, opioids and managing depression/mental health. Attendees can expect to explore the whole picture of employee health with a focus on employer perspectives and actionable solutions for these unprecedented times and beyond.
